We offer non-competitive and inclusive dance opportunities, focused on teamwork, body positivity, and creative thinking.
We offer an audition based pre-professional Student Company program for ages 9-18.
Adults (Ages 19+)
Continuous enrollment for adults!
Making Dances | Building Community
We offer a variety of dance styles that are inclusive to all levels and bodies.
There is no obligation to attend weekly classes.
Pay only for the classes you attend.
Purchase a dance card that NEVER expires and allows you to attend any of our adult classes on our schedule.
Student Company Program
If your student (ages 9-18) is serious about dance, consider one of our Ormao Student Company program. With an emphasis on creative expression, Ormao Youth Company, Ormao Junior Company and Ormao Senior Company will challenge dancers technically and artistically! Modeled after our professional dance company, our pre-professional students have the opportunity to work with professional choreographers, creating dances performed throughout the year. Entrance is by audition only.

Instructors
Our faculty are professionals in the field of dance, creating and performing throughout Colorado Springs. They are dedicated to educating youth and adults in the art of dance while creating community.
Mission
Ormao’s mission statement is threefold:
- To provoke, challenge, and entertain those in our community and beyond through the creative language of dance.
- To encourage diversity and experimentation in the arts.
- To enrich and enhance cultural opportunities within southern Colorado’s communities and schools by spear-heading initiatives that bring dance to the public and programs that educate people of all ages.
