
CHOREOGRAPHER
KT NELSON (ODC Fellow) danced, choreographed and with ODC Founder, Brenda Way co-directed the ODC/Dance Company over a 44 year period. She has been awarded the Isadora Duncan Award for: Outstanding Performance, Sustained Achievement and twice for Outstanding Choreography. She has collaborated with the Berkeley Symphony, ZapMama, Shinichi Iova-Koga, Joan Jeanrenaud and more. Her work Dead Reckoning was presented at Jacob’s Pillow and American Dance Platform at the Joyce Theater. (see Fighting Climate Change with Dance | KQED Arts). Nelson choreographed and directed ODC’s Velveteen Rabbit, which has been a SF holiday tradition for the past 35 years.
