Dancer

Prentiss Benjamin was born and raised in Los Angeles CA where she trained in the Vaganova method of ballet and pedagogy with famed Bolshoi ballerina Alla Khaniashvili.  She has performed with Alvit Ballet Company, Palos Verdes Ballet, and Ballet of the Sun, and was a finalist in the Music Center Spotlight Awards.  In New York, Prentiss appeared with Manhattan Ballet Company and JoDe Romano Flamenco. As an actress and longtime member of Actor’s Equity, Prentiss has appeared on stages in New York and across the country, most recently at Theatreworks in Colorado Springs.  Prentiss is grateful to her students for their humor, energy, and most of all, for their passion for dance.
