Dancer

Cheri Orr began her classical dance training in Fort Worth, Texas, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Dance from Belhaven University. After dancing with Ballet Magnificat! II and Belhaven Dance Ensemble, she relocated to Colorado Springs in 2001 and began performing with Ormao Dance Company and teaching dance. Currently, she shares her passion for the joy of dance teaching at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and Ormao’s Dance for Parkinson’s program. Cheri is the Artistic Director of Open Sky Colorado, a collective of dancers bringing hope and healing to our community through outreach performance and workshops. She is grateful for an abundant life shared with her artistic husband and four vibrant children.
