ANNUAL AUDITION NOTICE

Call for Professional Dancers – 2025–26 Ormao Anniversary Season

THURSDAY Aug 7, 6:15-9:30pm at Ormao studios

Ormao Dance Company is assembling a pool of 10–15 skilled dancers for our upcoming 2025–26 Anniversary Season. We are seeking versatile performers with strong technical foundations, improvisational and partnering skills and a passion for modern and contemporary dance.

Dancers selected through this audition process will become a dynamic group eligible to be cast in works throughout the season. Casting will be based on choreographic needs, dancer strengths, and availability.

Our season will feature a range of choreographers, each with distinct movement vocabularies and artistic voices. We’re looking for dancers who can adapt to a variety of aesthetics while bringing their own artistry and presence to the stage.

• This is an opportunity to be part of a professional-level performance pool for the 2025-2026 Anniversary Season
• Audition required for selection, provide resume or CV, photo desirable but not required
• Dancers selected will be notified after Aug 7 
• Rehearsal and performance stipends will be provided with contracts at a later date

What to expect:

6:15-6:30 check-in, complete on-line form upon arrival

6:30-8:00 modern/contemporary class with Britt Ford

8:00-8:10 break

8:10-9:15 workshop exploring improvisation as well as duet, trio, and group task oriented solutions with Mollie Wolf

9:15-9:30 Q&A answer any questions you may have
