Grant Funding 2017

Foundation support for Ormao’s programs is essential for our professional modern dance company so we can continue to bring guest artists, dancers, and choreographers to the community and support the artists who live here. Our Dance in Education Team’s Mathtastic program, which creatively combines math and dance concepts for 3rd – 5th grade students.

Currently, we are supported by the Bee Vradenburg Foundation, Carl W. & Carrie Mae Joslyn Charitable Trust, Hester E. & Edwin W. Giddings Foundation, Kirkpatrick Family Fund, and the Colorado Creative Industries. Please give them a round of applause!

Individual Contributions 2017 / Ormao Hill Scholarship Fund

We have been blessed with many individuals contributing generously to Ormao Dance Company because they believe in the life-changing, creative experiences and our collaborative community spirit.  In 2013 we created the Ormao Hill Scholarship Fund to support dancers who have demonstrated a high level of dedication to the art of dance and a desire to continue studying dance in higher education. In 2013 our first award went to Ms. Heather Woolley who is enrolled at CU-Boulder. In 2014 our second award went to Ms. Oksana Kuzma who is enrolled at University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana. Our 2015 recipients are Ms. Melissa Stokes and Ms. Marley Ferguson Hautzinger.

Thank you, thank you, philanthropy makes our world go around!
